π― Discernment: Knowing What to Share and When
Today, I found myself thinking about something simple, yet meaningfulβhow we choose what to share, and with whom.
Iβve always considered myself more of an introvert. I enjoy meaningful conversations and connecting with people through my work, but at the end of the day, I value returning homeβspending quiet time, recharging, and being with my dogs.
As I begin sharing more of my life through Robb Paddy Journey, Iβve realized something important: not everything needs to be announced loudly.
Sometimes, itβs better to let things unfold naturally.
π€ A Lesson Through Friendship
A friend of mineβwho is also a clientβhas taught me a lot in unexpected ways. Weβve had many conversations, and through those moments, Iβve even learned new words and ways of expressing ideas more clearly.
Recently, I learned a word that stayed with me: discernment.
That idea resonated deeply.
Discernment is about knowing:
what to share
when to share it
and who to share it with
Itβs not about hidingβitβs about understanding timing and intention.
Even when people have different beliefs or perspectives, connection is still possible. Respect, support, and shared experiences can bring people together in meaningful ways.
π± Choosing a Low-Profile Path
As I move forward with my website, Iβve chosen to keep things simple:
No big announcements
No pressure for others to read
Just a quiet presence
If someone is curious, theyβll find it.
If someone wants to understand more, theyβll ask.
And when they do, Iβll share openly.
π§ Growth Through Awareness
Iβve come to understand that communication isnβt just about speakingβitβs about awareness.
Not every thought needs to be expressed immediately.
Not every truth needs to be explained to everyone.
Thereβs strength in being thoughtful.
Thereβs peace in being grounded.
β¨ Final Thought
We all walk different paths.
We all hold different beliefs.
But connection doesnβt require agreementβit requires understanding.
And sometimes, the most meaningful connections come from simply respecting each other, learning from one another, and growing in our own ways.
